Free online e-safety courses for seniors

Assistance with My Aged Care

During this increased time at home in isolation, being connected online is more important than ever.

But for older Australians who are switching to online support and services, they may be finding this new way of living and communicating quite challenging and daunting.

The Federal Government has invested in FREE day time webinar courses for older Australians to improve their online skills.

The webinar classes are funded through the Federal Government’s $47m Digital Literacy for Older Australians initiative.

Some of the “Be Connected” classes include topics such as:

  • Ordering groceries and other essentials online for home delivery
  • Video chatting with family, friends and health professionals
  • Accessing government information and updates
  • Protect yourself against scams
