COVID-19 support line for older Australians

Assistance with My Aged Care

Any older Australian experiencing distress, confusion or needing someone to talk about their concerns during this COVID-19 outbreak, can call the support line on 1800 171 866.

This phone line which is also available to families and carers, was launched by the Federal Government along with COTA, National Seniors, OPAN and Dementia Australia to help address mental health concerns.

Contact the FREE hotline if you or your loved one are unsure what is safe, what isn’t or just needing some reassurance during this time.

The support line is available Monday to Friday, except public holidays, from 8.30am to 6.00pm.
