Clever Care NOW expands into transitional nursing care

We are delighted to announce that from April 2019, Clever Care NOW expands its services into transitional nursing care through the acquisition of SmartCare.

Over the last 18 years, SmartCare has provided transitional nursing care, which is transport with a SmartCare professional accompanying clients door to door. SmartCare has enabled the aged, frail and wheelchair bound to enjoy everyday mobility including transportation to medical appointments, hospital visits and family events including weddings and funerals.

Lyn Cecil, founder of SmartCare, hands over the long-established, successful and unique service to Jill Deering, CEO Clever Care NOW.

We are excited to continue to provide this much-needed service and is a further step in broadening our community wellbeing profile as we continue to offer a range of programs to the local area.

Nurses On Wheels has been presented with $50,000 from Bayside Council via the State Government’s Stronger Community Fund Grants. Over $500,000 was awarded to 15 local community groups at a function on Thursday, 22 February.

Clever Ageing Expo 2019
