Clever Care NOW Coronavirus (COVID-19) Management Plan

The safety and wellbeing of our clients, patients, staff and volunteers is our highest priority and none more so than during this current period of infection control.

As outlined by the Australian Government Department of Health, we are committed to following the guidelines in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and monitor the progress on a daily basis.

In addition to the broader controls that the Australian Government is implementing and in response to the developing situation here in Australia, we have instigated a Clever Care NOW (CCN) Coronavirus Management Plan.

This plan is regularly and closely monitored by our committee to ensure any further development or requirements that need to be implemented to assist with controlling the spread of this virus are done so with care and consideration.

We have outlined our own self-isolation guidelines and personal hygiene measures. The self-isolation requirement overseen by myself and our Program Manager Nursing, applies to staff with family or close friends with whom they have been in contact and have recently traveled overseas and are experiencing fever, flu or flu like symptoms.

As with our usual practice, all nurses closely observe their patients for any sign or symptom of illness and now extends to symptoms of the Coronavirus.

As an organisation we remain vigilant to ensure we control and reduce the risk of the spread of the Coronavirus.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
