2019 Local Woman of the Year, Miranda

On International Women’s Day, our CEO Jill Deering was named 2019 Local Woman of the Year, Miranda at the NSW Premier’s Awards.

The annual awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution made by women across NSW in industry, communities and society. Jill was recognised for her contribution to the local community and the not for profit sector.

Congratulations to Jill and thank you to Eleni Petinos for the nomination.

NOW receives grant for new bus

Nurses On Wheels has been presented with $50,000 from Bayside Council via the State Government’s Stronger Community Fund Grants. Over $500,000 was awarded to 15 local community groups at a function on Thursday, 22 February.
