Growing support for Clever Care NOW

Long Standing Mobile Nursing Service

Our Clever Care NOW mobile nursing service has been in operation for 60 years. Originally Rockdale Community Mobile Nursing Service, we have been more commonly known as Nurses On Wheels before our change of name last year to Clever Care NOW.

Changes to Clever Care NOW Board

We are pleased to welcome three new members to the Board of Clever Care NOW: Debbie Crowley, Dr Michelle Julian, and Robert Jordan AM, all of whom bring an array of experience and skills to our organisation.

Debbie is a local business woman with more than 18 years experience in board directorship and governance with several non-profit organisations. Michelle brings industry knowledge as a local Geriatrician (Aged Care Specialist) and Robert’s commercial acumen from his many years as Managing Director of Westfield, position us well for the future. On Wednesday 10 October 2018, Mark Speakman SC MP, NSW Attorney General officially opened our new Caringbah office and launched Clever Care NOW (formerly Nurses On Wheels).

NOW receives grant for new bus

Nurses On Wheels has been presented with $50,000 from Bayside Council via the State Government’s Stronger Community Fund Grants. Over $500,000 was awarded to 15 local community groups at a function on Thursday, 22 February.

Clever Ageing Expo 2019

Expressions of Interest are open for exhibitors at the 2019 Clever Ageing Expo, Tuesday 19 February at Club on East Sutherland.
