clever care now - caring for the community

Clever Care NOW Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

We are pleased that during this global health crisis, we have been able to continue our home nursing and patient transport services.

Throughout this pandemic we have been following advice and guidelines from Australian Government Department of Health.

In response, we have been swift to implement our own management plan taking necessary precautions and changes for the health, wellbeing and safety of our clients, staff and community. This meant that some weeks ago, we suspended our Day Tripper program.

As social distancing measures are relaxed, we will continue to follow advice from the Department of Health and Common Health Support Program providers. Although restrictions are beginning to lift, our Day Tripper program remains on hold at this stage. The health of our clients is our priority and take due precautions for those in our community most vulnerable.

We understand the decisions we make have an impact on our clients. We assure our clients and their families that we are working on a staged return to the Day Tripper program for as and when it is appropriate to do so. In the mean time we continue our “Are you OK?” calls to Day Tripper clients, checking in with them on a weekly basis.

In regards to our home nursing and patient transport services, our nurses continue to observe their patients for any sign or symptom of illness and as always, our clients health and wellbeing remains the nurse’s priority.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
